Last mid-May, Prof. Joey Ocon attended the EES Europe Conference and the Intersolar Europe in Munich, Germany.
The event’s exhibition and conference both focus on renewable energy storage solutions, from residential and commercial applications to large-scale storage systems for stabilizing the grid. The spotlight is also shined on topics like energy management, electric transportation and intelligent systems integration.
The joint event consisted of 40,000 participants from over 165 countries. The event sought to provide “fresh impetus for the development of sustainable energy supply.” As of this writing, renewable energy comprised 87% of the energy consumption in Germany, making it the rightful melting pot of this event. This only proves that by building an intelligent networking of systems built on combined photovoltaics, wind, biomass, bio gas, among others, 100% renewable source of energy can be possible.
