Last September 19-23, 2016, the Research Fellows of LEE under the GREENPOWER Project attended the training in Korea.
It started with a 3-day training on the use of equipment for electrochemical measurements at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), where the researchers learned about MEA Preparation, FC Test Station, RRDE, XRD. This was followed by a two-day series of visits to Yeungnam University and Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST).
This visit is important in building rapport with the Korean universities and having potential exchange student programs with GIST, Yeungnam University, and DGIST, as a result of that.
The team would like to appreciate the warm welcome of the hosts:
1. Prof. Jaeyoung Lee, Electrochemical Reaction & Technology Laboratory (ERTL), Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Gwangju, South Korea
2. Prof. Jae-Jin Shim, Supercritical Fluids and Nanoprocesses Laboratory, Yeungnam University, Gyeongsan, South Korea
3. Prof. Jong-Sung Yu, Light, Salts and Water Research Group, Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST), Daegu, South Korea
