LEEwanag sa DiLEEman: The LEE Christmas Party Celebration

Last December 18, 2023, the LEE members gathered at the Department of Chemical Engineering Building, UP Diliman with the spirit of Christmas in their hearts in celebration of the much-awaited season of the year with the theme “LEE-wanag sa Di-LEE-man”. And what better way to share the light of love and joy than the love of Filipinos for local celebrity love teams? The highlight of the occasion was the Parade of the Stars where the members portrayed the biggest love teams in the country namely KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla), AlDub (Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza aka Yaya Dub), MelaSon (Melai Cantiveros-Francisco and Jason Francisco) featuring the Chicken Nuggets (Mela and Stela), MarJo (Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal), and AshLloyd (Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz). The group of love teams even prepared on-brand performances such as re-enacting the iconic scenes of KathNiel’s She’s Dating the Gangster and AlDub’s Sa Tamang Panahon.

The event was also graced with fun-filled activities like parlor games, TaLEEntado’s Singing Competition, LEEtrato, Kris Kringle, and the LEE 2023 Year-end Awards.

As one chapter closes, another opens. The LEE Christmas Party ended the year on a good note with messages from Prof. Joey Ocon and Assoc. Prof. Julie Anne Paraggua who shared the light of hope and wisdom and with the eager anticipation of the coming 10th year founding anniversary of the Laboratory.
